Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in NPI stage and safe launch transition to production stage of product life cycle to identify and resolve any product design weakness, test coverage or manufacturing process related product quality issues.
- Assist in customer return failure analysis through lot history analysis, electrical test data analysis and detailed failure analysis to identify root cause and resolution of the failures.
- Assist in generating 8D failure analysis reports and verify the effectiveness of containment and corrective actions.
- Drive corrective actions cross-functionally with internal and external team members and support continuous improvement activities for customer quality and internal quality requirements.
- Review and participate material review boards (MRB) and manage process change control boards (PCCB) with associated risk assessment.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS with minimum of 5 years related experiences in product engineering, product quality engineering or quality assurance/reliability/failure analysis (QRA)
- Good problem-solving skills, hands-on failure analytical skills with strong quality mindset
- Knowledge on analog, mixed-signal or power management IC products design validation, production testing and statistical analysis
- Knowledge on semiconductor device design, test and reliability concepts and general front end and back end manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with data analysis tools like DataPower Exensio
